Atulya - Sanskrit word meaning 'incomparable'

A rug like you've never seen or felt before. Lovingly hand knotted by artisan's in Bhadohi, India out of 100% natural un-dyed New Zealand wool and cotton. An ivory rug with natural raw sheep's wool flecks of brown and beige throughout. Luxuriously soft and warming underfoot with hand plaited tasseled ends, the Atulya is sure to add texture and warmth to any home.

Atulya's production process takes approximately 70 days from the initial yarn spinning stage to the last finishing point using 16th century rug making techniques and tools.

Ethically and fairly made with GoodWeave International certification. This collection is of the highest ethical standard in the rug industry.

Features:

  • 100% New Zealand Wool Pile
  • 100 % Natural Cotton Warp & Weft
  • Un-dyed Natural Wool
  • GoodWeave Certified
  • Ethically Made
  • Made in India
  • Hand Knotted

*Being a hand crafted item, there are some occasional bumps or irregular knots in the rugs. This is because they have been made by the hands of human beings and not a machine and add to the beauty and story behind the rug. These minor irregularities do not affect the structural integrity of the rug.
