Our mission goes beyond crafting beautiful, ethically made rugs—we are committed to creating a positive lasting impact on the lives of those in need.

We’re excited to make a difference with our customers. Every rug purchased is woven by skilled artisans who are paid fairly, work in safe conditions and are protected through internationally recognised certifications.

We pay our artisans 3x the industry standard—one more way our customers help change lives through every rug sold.  We support Care & Fair's human project, which works towards terminating unjust practice in India.

In 2023, our Founder Jess established the Shanti Bhavan Foundation in Australia. A non-profit that helps empower children from India’s most disadvantaged communities to break the cycle of generational poverty through education, leadership and compassion.

In our first four years of business, we helped 17 children receive a full year of live-in education and support. 

By establishing the Foundation in Australia, our ability to make an impact has grown. Since 2023 nearly $150,000 has been raised via The Shanti Bhavan Foundation Australia enabling hundreds of disadvantaged children to access the education and opportunities they deserve.

With an estimated 160 million children engaged in child labor worldwide, we stand firmly against exploitation. Our GoodWeave and Care & Fair certifications guarantee ethical production and fair labor practices. We also pay a fee per rug to support their missions of terminating unjust practice in India and ensuring artisans' children receive an education.
