How would you describe your interior design style?
"My interior design style is relaxed coastal with a modern twist. I love blending natural textures, soft tones, and a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe with all the modern elements we expect in a home."

What does creating a beautiful home mean to you?
"A beautiful home means creating a space that feels like a sanctuary—one that balances comfort, style, and functionality. A beautiful home won’t stay beautiful unless it’s easy to clean and maintain so that is a priority for me."

What was the inspiration behind Dream Home design and how do our rugs complement that?
"The inspiration behind our home design is modern coastal with warm tones and textured finished. Think, natural tones, timber and stone elements paired with warm ages brass throughout. We wanted a relaxed yet luxurious feel, and the rugs perfectly complement this by adding warmth and texture, enhancing the space’s inviting atmosphere."
What do you look for when searching for a rug?
"When searching for a rug, I look for a design that complements the overall aesthetic of the room, with a soft texture and durable quality that fits seamlessly with the space."
Bold or neutral tones?
"I lean towards neutral tones, as they provide a timeless and versatile foundation, but I love adding accents of bold but neutral earthy tones through smaller decor pieces or cushions and throws."
Minimal design or texture & patterns?
"I prefer texture, as it is timeless in style and complements most styles of furniture. Texture adds depth and interest to a space, while still maintaining a relaxed and inviting vibe."

How do you determine what size rug you need?
"I determine the size based on the layout of the room and the placement of furniture. The rug should anchor the space and create a balanced look. If in doubt I use rugs for good sizing guide its great for helping determine the correct size rug for a space"
Do you have any tips for matching a rug with an existing space?
"My tip is to consider the room’s colour palette and furniture style. A rug should enhance, not compete with, the overall look. Opt for textures and tones that tie the space together."

"My three favourite rugs from the new South West Collection are Versatile Neutral Tones including - Sedona in Sepia & Sedona in Chalk, paired with earthy jute rugs like the Dharma and Avoca Runner's.
